About Us

The mission of the Greater Millville Chamber of Commerce is to be an advocate for the business community and support the financial health of our business owners through networking opportunities, educational services and support for pro-business legislation at the local, state and national levels.

Our Mission

To create and promote an environment that fosters a productive economic exchange between all businesses, industries, community agencies, organizations, governments, and citizens within the city of Millville as well as surrounding communities.

The Greater Millville Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to the proposition that the business interests of the area have much in common, and that cooperative efforts can lead to lasting improvements in the regional business environment, as well as in the community at large.

The Chamber places emphasis on gathering and providing timely information on issues that may affect business and the regional economy. This web site, for example, enables the Chamber to post late-breaking news on business, governmental and legislative issues that may warrant attention and action by the membership. The Chamber's newsletter is published and distributed periodically, and contains useful information on business matters and community events.

The Chamber believes that mutual support and involvement are key to success, and has worked to create opportunities throughout the year for members to get together. Monthly luncheons afford members the opportunity to gather, confer on recent happenings and be exposed to a variety of interesting speakers and business development topics. In addition, the Chamber hosts 'Business After Business' events during the year, to provide added opportunities for members to meet in different regional settings, and "appreciate each other's company."

The Chamber is also active in sponsoring several key events to celebrate and promote businesses in the community. These events include the annual Collector's Car Show and Craft Show, and the kickoff of the Holiday Season with the Christmas Parade on Thanksgiving Weekend.

Meeting and Committee Structure

The Chamber Board holds its popular meetings on a monthly basis. Standing committees on the board include:
